Health extension workers (HEWs) and the Health Development Army (HDA) in Ethiopia utilize Speaking Books as a supplement to the Family Health Card during interactions with the community regarding antenatal care, safe delivery, postnatal and new-born care, recognition of dangers signs, care-seeking and immunization.
